We have done 4 projects with Mike, and they keep getting bigger! Our first project involved a total kitchen renovation, moving our laundry upstairs, and turning our old laundry room into an awesome mudroom. A year later Mike finished our basement. We absolutely loved everything about it all and Mike and his subs were amazing to work with. The work was fantastic and we could show them a picture of anything and have it replicated in our home exactly as we wanted. They spent hours figuring out how we could make things work the best possible way. They were so easy to have around that our small kids at the time, welcomed our new "friends" into our home every day. I trusted them to come and go whether we were home or not and if it was a sub we didn't know, Mike was always there if we couldn't be. Our next project was a whole house renovation with lots of work in some areas of the house, and just a little in others, but most rooms were touched in some regard. It was a total kitchen renovation, a total basement renovation, all new flooring and paint throughout the house, and lots and lots of little things. Again, we were incredibly happy with every bit of it from start to finish! People who had been in both houses before the renovations were blown away by the incredible changes. Both of these homes sold in less than 3 weeks, when we were ready to move on which wasn't normal for the neighborhoods at the time. Our last project was a beautiful brick 335 year old colonial home in complete disaray. It was a foreclosure that had been empty for over two years and hadn't been touched since it was built as far as decor. Not only were there no rooms untouched by Mike and his crew, but most were completely gutted and we put on a large 3 story addition. We had big dreams for this home and all of our dreams were exceeded. We have been here a little over a year and we are still in awe of how incredible it turned out. We can't think of anything we wouldve done differently. Mike and his crew did everything we asked and more, and honestly, some of it was not at all easy. Just combining an old house with an addition is not easy. We didn't add separate rooms, we extended the kitchen and added a large hearth room, turned the old laundry room/bathroom into an amazing pantry with a built in desk, moved the bathroom, added a big laundry room and mudroom and third car garage. We moved the master bedroom and bathroom to the other side of the house and redid the original master. We turned a large unused room above the garage into an amazing bunk room with built in bunks, a pull out trundle, built in desk, and entertainment area. The entire basement was gutted and redone and we added a large patio. The outside was equally transformed by finding the exact brick to match the old house, adding windows and second story dormers, a circle driveway and so much more. This was a huge and difficult project and it was our forever dream home so we were picky and wanted it perfect. Mike not only delivered, but exceeded our expectations and it was a positive experience every step of the way. Of course, nothing ever goes perfect and we had some issues, but they were all quickly and pleasantly resolved. We would never use anyone else and highly recommend Mike for any kind of construction work. The end result is amazing, we were very comfortable and confident every step of the way, Mike was always upfront about everything, including price and it was important to him that everything was exactly what we wanted.
